Medical Clearance

Hi! I have a couple questions about the Med Clearance.

1. Do seasonal allergies disqualify you from anything?

2. I can't remember if I've had a pap smear, so I just put no. Will it be cool if I just get one now?

3. I'm moving to do trail work in two months. I'm guessing I probably won't get all the medical clearance paperwork ahead of time. Are there appointments I can do in the next two months in advance? Like what are all the things I'll need to do? or will I have to wait for the information, so my doctor can sign it, etc.? I just want to find out everything I can do in advance of actually getting nominated. Thanks!

1. I seriously doubt it, but I can't be sure.
2. If you can't remember, you've probably never had one. As a general health care tip, I'd get one - you'll probably need the results for your application eventually, but either way, you should get one for yourself.
3. I would just wait... it will slow down your application process if you can't get it all done right when you get the medical packet, but until you know exactly what you need for your test/etc, it's not worth spending the money/time on it in the meantime. (Because, yes, your doctor, AND your dentist, will both need to sign things. Plus your optometrist if you wear glasses/contacts - in fact, maybe schedule yourself appointments for right after you get back from your trail work now, so that you'll be able to get in promptly - even if you don't have the exact paperwork yet.)
